Pretty Animalz Panda Sheet Mask Review

Sheet masks are always hit or miss, no matter the brand or price. Some people love them, and some people hate them. Personally, I prefer the masks that apply evenly to my face from a bottle because they’re what I’m used to using on a regular basis. I changed up my routine last week and used a Pretty Animalz Sheet Mask and it effected my skin more than I anticipated.

First off let me say that I have been struggling with dry skin since about November of last year. The winter continued to be hard on my skin, so I had to find some very hydrating products and use them religiously. Well, since the weather has started to warm a little my skin was evening out, and I had my miracle products that saved my skin. I thought I could try a sheet mask and change up my routine.

The Panda Mask is supposed to be a Calming Mask and help smooth out rough patches to reveal smoother, brighter skin. It actually did the opposite for me! There’s something in it that I’m allergic to, because immediately after removing the mask I saw bright red spots all over my face. They didn’t hurt at all so I thought my skin was just having a slight flare up and would calm down overnight. I was so wrong! I used it on April 18th and still to this day I’m dealing with what it did to my face.

My skin has been blotchy, red, flaky, and super itchy! I have been using Air Repair Rescue Balm just to give me some relief from the itching and the peeling skin. I wouldn’t recommend this mask to anyone with even a tiny bit of sensitivity in their skin because I’m afraid it could do the same thing to you! I’m a licensed esthetician so I know how to treat my skin responsibly, and I’m struggling to resolve these issues.

I don’t like sharing pictures of my face like this, but I wanted everyone to see how even with makeup on I cannot cover these spots on my face. My skin hasn’t been this terrible since after I first had Ellis and my hormones were a mess! You can see all of the rough flaky skin on my cheeks, nose, and forehead.

This mask retails for only $3.99 but I wouldn’t recommend it. This mask didn’t brighten my complexion, calm, or hydrate my skin. Only use it if you have tough skin.

If you have skin issues and would like a consultation with an esthetician I am available every Monday from 9-5 and every Thursday evening from 3-9 at Ihloff Utica Square. Stop in or call 918-587-2566 to book an appointment in advance.
